Today I found a video on YouTube that I am absolutely in Love with. The video is from the hit television show: "Strictly Come Dance" that aired on SABC 2. The Video features a performance by Flash Republic.
Flash Republic Is Ryan Dent, Tamara Dey and Craig Massiv.
What I found really Interesting is the level of Showmanship and the unbelievably creative and synchronized choreography. The best part of all is the music. I think this group really have a good thing going here and could potentially make it onto the world stage if they plyaed all their cards right.
I have met Tamara on various occasions and she is a really down to earth, fun-loving and normal person. A little on the strange side when it comes to style but this makes her even more unique. She is always around at the QC parties.

His name is Jon Kortajarena, a 25 year old Spanish born model, known for his distinguishing chiselled cheekbones, effortless style and a dark, fly-away mop of hair. The Spaniard seems to be everywhere; from bus stops and billboards to high end magazines and award shows. You can’t go far at the moment without noticing Jon Kortajarena. If you are unfamiliar with his name then I am sure you recognise him from H&M's winter campaign, as well as being the face of recent advertisements at Pepe Jeans, Next, Martinique, Tom Ford and Guess. He also featured In Tom Ford’s directorial début A Single Man in 2009, and in the same year GQ voted him their Model Of The Year.

Jon was discovered at Fashion Week whilst visiting a friend who was attending a show. His initial meetings went very well and he was soon required to move from Bilbao – his hometown – to Paris. He threw himself head first into the fashion world and has never looked back.
The reason I believe Jon Kortajarena is a style icon is because of his dishevelled brand of elegance and for imposing his own style and unique look on all his photo shoots and campaigns. He looks as sartorially savvy in both casual knits and denim as he does in a Tom Ford suit, and looks just as cultivated when walking the red carpet as he does in the street. He wears clothes that suit his tall and slim physique, and you don’t have to be an international model to understand the importance of dressing to your frame.
It is easy to argue that gauging a male model’s sense of style is a bit of a farce because their job is to be dressed by other people, and thus they may not have a style identity of their own. But I believe, as with David Gandy, Jon Kortajarena knows what suits him and stamps his authority and individuality on the outfits he wears. He trusts his own frame to give loose casuals and knits the shape and elegance required, once again championing the effortless presence that he has. When wearing more tailored and formal outfits Jon looks sharp and measured but when this is coupled with stubble and full head of semi-styled looking hair it presents a look that is traditional but with a modern edge, and this is something that we can all achieve with a little creativity in our wardrobe and grooming.

Η κατάσταση στην πλατεία Συντάγματος και τους γύρω δρόμους ήταν αποπνικτική λόγω της εκτεταμένης χρήσης χημικών και δακρυγόνων από την αστυνομία, με αποτέλεσμα περισσότεροι από 500 διαδηλωτές να παρουσιάσουν αναπνευστικά προβλήματα.

Υπάρχουν καταγγελίες ότι η αστυνομία έκανε απρόκλητη χρήση χημικών εναντίον ανθρώπων που διαδήλωναν ειρηνικά, καθώς και για απρόκλητες επιθέσεις αστυνομικών σε βάρος πολιτών.
Το ΕΚΑΒ, από την πλευρά του, κατήγγειλε ότι η αστυνομία δεν άφηνε τα ασθενοφόρα να προσεγγίσουν το Σύνταγμα για να περισυλλέξουν τους τραυματίες.

Σύμφωνα με το Υπουργείο Υγείας, 99 άτομα μεταφέρθηκαν σε διάφορα νοσοκομεία της Αθήνας. Συγκεκριμένα, 28 άτομα μεταφέρθηκαν στο νοσοκομείο Ευαγγελισμός, 57 στο «Γεώργιος Γεννηματάς», έξι στην Πολυκλινική Αθηνών, επτά στο νοσοκομείο «Ελπίς» και ένα άτομο στο «Σωτηρία».

Έχουν επίσης τραυματιστεί, σύμφωνα με την αστυνομία, 31 αστυνομικοί. Μέχρι στιγμής έχουν γίνει 16 συλλήψεις και 43 προσαγωγές.

Οι συγκρούσεις μεταξύ των αστυνομικών δυνάμεων και των κουκουλοφόρων συνεχίζονταν μέχρι τις πρώτες πρωϊνές ώρες, με τους δρόμους γύρω από το Σύνταγμα να είναι καλυμμένοι από πέτρες, μάρμαρα, καρέκλες και δοκάρια. Rain's Australia concert was highly appraised by local media "Rain comes, he did much better than Beyonce"! International Star RAIN successfully held his concert in Sydney, Australia.

Well, this concert is quite sudden actually, there're still many people who are not able to come even they are aware of it..." She hoped that the organiser can plan the schedule properly next time.

It was said that the scale, equipment & setup, performance level were highly appraised by local professionals. The passionate response from the audience also proved that this concert was a great success~

Performance manager Jade admitted that Rain is the first Asian singer who held his concert in Acer Arena. Indeed, initially they were shocked when knowing that an Asian singer wanted to hold his concert in such a large scale stage. However, the most advanced equipment and strong technologies showed by Korean team during concert preparation surprised them more! He commented that Rain's world tour is definitely high quality no matter where he goes.

Another manager Don Elfor said, "Rain did come... and WOW... What a show it was!" From the viewpoint of performance planning, he agreed that this is the most advanced performance held in Acer Arena. In the meantime, the scale of overall performance, as well as Rain's cultural values and professionality impressed them very much. Undoubtedly the fans are demanding, but Rain's performance satisfied them, and even performed better than what they expected!

A local crew Andre Smith said that such large scale concert is quite rare in Australia. Rain's concert is about two times bigger than Beyonce's concert and in fact it was a spectacular stage! On that day, the locals were shocked by the screams of audience.

One of the performers, Joven knew about Rain through this concert. It was his first time watching Rain's performance but he can't feel there's any difference compared to USA pop stars. Thus he could understand why the audience were so mad about him.

Rain will rest in Sydney on Apr and leaves in the morning of Apr 16.
